Taliiq (“Taliiq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of Vyxeon (“Vyxeon”), a technology company registered and operating in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal data when you use our platform, website, APIs, and services (collectively, the “Services”). We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020), and where applicable, the GDPR and other MENA-region data protection frameworks.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account Data: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing information when you register.
  • Agent Configuration: Prompts, voice selections, language preferences, and guardrail settings you configure.
  • Communication Content: Voice recordings, chat transcripts, and message logs generated through your agents.
  • Support Inquiries: Information you submit through contact forms or support tickets.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, API calls made, session duration.
  • Device Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
  • Call Metadata: Call duration, latency metrics, STT/LLM/TTS provider performance.
  • Cookies & Similar Technologies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. See Section 8.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our Services.
  • To process billing and manage your account.
  • To route voice and chat interactions through your configured providers (STT, LLM, TTS).
  • To monitor system performance, debug issues, and ensure service reliability.
  • To comply with legal obligations under Egyptian law and applicable MENA regulations.
  • To send service-related communications (notifications, updates, security alerts).
  • With your consent, to send promotional materials about Taliiq and Vyxeon products.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

  • AI Providers: STT, LLM, and TTS providers you configure (e.g., OpenAI, ElevenLabs) to process voice and chat interactions.
  • Infrastructure Partners: Cloud hosting, database, and monitoring providers necessary to operate the platform.
  • Vyxeon Affiliates: Taliiq is a Vyxeon product; data may be processed within the Vyxeon group for operational purposes.
  • Legal Authorities: When required by Egyptian law, court order, or governmental regulation.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate safeguards.

5. Data Storage & Security

  • Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).
  • Voice recordings and transcripts are retained according to your configured retention policy (default: 7 days).
  • We implement access controls, audit logging, and regular security assessments.
  • SOC2 compliance assessment is maintained for our infrastructure.
  • In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Center within 72 hours as required by Law No. 151 of 2020.

6. Your Rights

Under Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law, GDPR (where applicable), and related MENA data protection regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restriction: Limit how we process your data.
  • Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is consent-based.

7. Cross-Border Data Transfers

Taliiq uses cloud infrastructure that may store and process data outside Egypt. When data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and adequacy decisions where applicable. Data may be processed in the United States, European Union, and United Arab Emirates.

8. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication, session management, and security. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies without your consent. You can configure your browser to reject cookies; however, this may affect the functionality of our Services.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in Egypt, the MENA region, or elsewhere. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and/or a notice on our platform. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
